The PGT is a tie designed for attaching wood fence rails to metal fence posts. This pipe grip tie can be used in new construction or to replace damaged wooden posts. Ideal for a variety of conditions, the PGT helps to eliminate the rot and failures to which wood fence posts are most prone, thus extending the life of a fence.

Installation
- Install on vertical pipes, offsetting corners to allow for the correct rail alignment.
- Use three to four PGTs per pipe; line up to stringline.
- Tighten PGT with one 1/4″ hex-head bolt (supplied).
- Attach PGT to rails using four 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws (not supplied). 1/4″ lag screws may be substituted. Follow the code requirements for predrilling.
- Field bend PGT flanges to fit corner and angled conditions (bend one time only).
